Kybele package £750.00

1. Liasing with the Bride & Groom before their arrival in Northern Cyprus. Advising on travel, transfers and hotel accommodation, legal requirements and contact with the Chaplain, Priest or Kaymakam (for Civil weddings). Assisting with flowers (colour matching), wedding cake, reserving the services of a photographer, wedding reception venue, taxis etc for the Big Day.

2. Assisting with the administration & registration of the wedding. Booking the wedding date with the Chaplain, Kaymakam or Priest. Checking all the papers and certificates with the authorities. Booking the venue & reception for the Wedding, Blessing or Renewal of Vows. For Weddings, the following papers are required: Birth certificates, Letters of parental consent (if under 18yrs), Divorce certificates (if applicable), & Passports. Photocopies of these documents are required to secure the date & legal registration.

3. For civil weddings, the couple must obtain Certificates of Non Impediment, stating that they are free to marry (dated within three months of the wedding day) from a solicitor or Notary. They must then visit the TRNC offices in London with two witnesses. (not necessarily the same two who will witness the wedding). The documents will then be stamped for a small fee. These original documents must then be sent to North Cyprus Weddings who will register them in Nicosia. The Bride & Groom must enter the TRNC via the north ie Ercan. A photocopy of the entry visa must be given to the Kaymakams office to prove this. Bring ALL original copies of documents. The Bride & Groom should be resident in the TRNC for a minimum of 4 nights prior to their wedding. (In case of flight delays, please allow 5). Both parties must hold British passports (If either of them have any Turkish Cypriot relatives, a different set of rules apply)

5. On arrival on the island, meeting the Bride & Groom and discussing all arrangements. I will collect you from your hotel and spend a half-day with you, meeting with the Chaplain, Priest or Kaymakam officer. Visit the wedding venue, wedding reception venue, photographer etc. Assisting with hair and beauty appointments, for the ‘Big Day’.

Transport

A car for the Bride & Bridesmaids from their hotel to the Church or Bellapais A car for the Groom & Best man from their hotel to the Church or Bellapais (Or, Church to Bellapais if applicable)

Return taxi for the Kaymakam’s Officer to attend and perform a Civil marriage ceremony at Bellapais. Plus the charges made for attending an out of office venue.

Extra cars can be booked at cost & charged. We have access to a Blue Rolls Royce, which can be booked for the whole day! If the wedding is in Kyrenia, you might like to consider a horse drawn carriage. Due to the climate, we can only book the horse & carriage for short journeys.

Flowers

All fresh and seasonal flowers Bride’s standard size Wedding bouquet, 1 x Bridesmaids posy, Buttonholes for the Groom, Best man and two witnesses. Table decoration for the Wedding table

 
NB. Extra posies, buttonholes and flowers for the Church decoration can be supplied at a supplementary charge. Our florist can also add extra decorations, of your choice to the wedding venue and/ or reception. Please ask for details if required.

Wedding Cake

One tier sponge cake for up to 12 people. Quotations for larger cakes can be obtained.

Champagne

A bottle of champagne to celebrate the wedding immediately after the ceremony.

Wedding Reception

The Wedding Breakfast for the Bride & Groom, which is a full Turkish Cypriot meal with 2 hours local free drinks, is included in the package. Price for the wedding guests including 2 hours local drinks - spirits and wines, £30.00 per person. Children, under 14yrs £20.00 Babies, under 2yrs FOC.

Terms

I require a £50.00 non-refundable deposit prior to making any wedding reservations, liasing with Chaplain/Kaymakam/Priest etc. The remaining balance will be due not less than six weeks prior to the wedding. Prices for the Kaymakam's Office are based on known charges as of March 2008. Charges for the Priest/Chaplain & Church (if any) are not included. The Anglican Church charges £350.00 for a Church Wedding and £150.00 for Blessings conducted at another venue. The Roman Catholic Church makes no charge, but accepts donations. Wedding package prices are based on clients staying in the Kyrenia region prior to their wedding. I cannot be held responsible if you fail to bring your original documents with you to Cyprus. No two weddings are the same. If you would like something deleted from the above package or added to it, I can prepare a special quotation for you. Please make all cheques payable to Carol A Blackwell-Gibbs.
